The Rangers won the series 4-1, with each victory by a 2-1 score, the last two in OT.

Jiri Hudler had a goal and an assist and the Flames earned a 3-1 win over the Canucks on Tuesday, according to an ESPN.com report.

Goaltender Jonas Hiller made 28 saves for the win.

The “Winnipeg Whiteout” was back after a 19-year absence. It had been filed away after the original franchise moved to Arizona following the 1995-96 season. Once the Atlanta Thrashers relocated to Winnipeg in 2011, fans had to wait four more seasons before the team reached the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Unfortunately for the Jets and their fans, the emotional day ended with a loss. The Ducks posted a 5-4 overtime win in Game 3 of the Western Conference first-round series, and now the Jets are one loss away from elimination.

Dale Weise's goal 8:47 into overtime Sunday night, after tying the game with 5:47 to go in the third period, lifted the Habs to a 2-1 comeback win over the Senators and to a commanding 3-0 series lead.

The 26-year-old now has five playoff goals in two springs for the Canadiens, three of them game winners.
